Shuttle Take off tonight

The shuttle reshedules take off is supposed to be tonight, if you have been keeping up with our holiday blog we are planning on attending again.

lets hope no lighting this time.

Here is a map of the where we got a a view from
it does look far away, but it is one of the closest spots you can get to apart from booking a ticket at Kennedy space Center its self (which you have to do well in advance)

I have added some photos of where we parked up,
like is say, it look far away but we been told that we can feel the ground shaking from this point (that close enough for me)

Have marked on the map a blue circle, that's where were be.

The 1st photos, is from our parked space.
The 2nd is zoomed in on the shuttle storage bay (the shuttle is taking off about a mile to the left of that, will add more photos when i get the chance)
3rd is the map where we should be.

We should be leaving in about 2 hours, i will let someone else post and work out what the UK time will be.
take of is at 6:03 p.m (US, Florida time)

Re: Shuttle Take off tonight

Oww and if people could keep us updated like before

If anyone can text us with updates if they change
More so we know if its not going head, save hanging about.

Currently on 60% chance of it going ahead (the one we went to the other day was only 40%)

You can check the NASA site here

Please remember, i dont have the UK phone on me, just the US one
Wedge/Pob/Giraffe/Gunn/Kyle/Dawson all have it (its in the Event management forum)
