I mean, even sticking £1 Million in a bank, in theory at least, should earn enough for a decent living after you have bought a house, car, etc.

What an epic ****.

A friend of my dads won the lottery, Micheal Antonochi (Cant spell name) he won a huge amount too. He bought all the clubs in plymouth, allowed drug dealing in there now they are all shut down, hes broke and sleeping in a pay by the hour hotel in the middle of plymouths red light district. Nice one.

I will never understand how people can manage to piss away so much money and end up on the dole / in debt, managing finances is not hard, just budget.

At the end of the day he won it, it was won from gambling, he then gambled with his money. It doesn't bother me much.

Had it been someone who had conducted illegal activities to get said money, then I'd be pissed off they got the money in the first place, but in stitches that they lost it so quickly.

The guy got lucky, then got stupid, the stupidity led to him becoming unlucky. What goes around comes around.
